Great influence Gribaldi, Bordeaux, Vivaldi, and Krack C

During the first viewing, our legendary stallions Gribaldi, Vivaldi, Bordeaux, and Krack C clearly left their mark on all young stallions.

Vivaldi
The first day, the group with Vivaldi's direct sons entered the track. These were 4 very striking and nice stallions, two of which were referred to the second viewing. These were the stallions Pe'le D (cat.nr 552 Vivaldi x Donnerhall x Rosenkavalier), bred by J.C.M. Derikx from Mariaheide, and Partout (cat.nr 555 Vivaldi x Fürstenball x Totilas), bred by Van Bockxgrave Horses B.V. from Hapert.

In addition to these direct sons, no fewer than 45 indirect sons were presented. Of these 45 presented stallions, another 14 were referred to the second viewing in Den Bosch.

So in total there were 49 stallions in the cage where Vivaldi can be seen in the sire or dam line. That is about 20% of all proposed stallions!

Gribaldi & Bordeaux
Our legendary stallions Gribaldi & Bordeaux were also very well represented in Ermelo. They could often be seen as grandfathers or maternal fathers. Gribaldi's grandson Glock's Toto Jr. gave a strong crop of stallions this year. Fifteen stallions appeared in the ring, of which no less than 6 were referred, including Phantom (Glock's Toto Jr. x Metall x Krack C x Gribaldi) presented by us. One of the most striking crops this year was from the stallion Le Formidable, son of our stallion Bordeaux. Gribaldi is also intertwined in this. A total of 95 stallions were presented where Gribaldi can be seen in the line. That is more than 40% of all stallions that were presented in this first viewing. Of these 95 stallions, 28 were referred to the second viewing.

Krack C
Finally, perhaps the stallion with the most influence on this first viewing, the tyrant Krack C. In total, no less than 131 stallions (of which 49 Vivaldi sons or indirect Vivaldi sons) entered the lane where Krack C can be traced back in the sire or dam line. That is over 55% of all stallions at the first viewing. Of these, 29 (including the 14 Vivaldi sons and indirect Vivaldi sons) were referred to Den Bosch.
