Dante U.S.

Dante U.S. is with 8-years already succesful in the Grand Prix
*
Dante U.S. is a half-brother of Dressage phenomenon Total U.S.
In February 2024 - just 8 years old - Diederik van Silfhout started our top talent Dante U.S. intermediare II and immediately won with a beautiful score of 72.255%. This put them on the Long List for the Olympic Games. We knew it was still very early, but the registrations had to be with the FEI in March. Their 2nd Intermediare II test was during the K&U competition in Schijndel, they also managed to win this with a score of 70.54%. They made their Grand Prix debut in Reuver during the K&U competition with a score of 68.73%. In May they made their 1st international start in Exloo, Grand Prix (68.13%) and the Grand Prix Special (67.72%). After this we decided to give Dante U.S. some rest and to fully concentrate on the breeding season, because it all went by so quickly. After the season, Diederik Dante U.S. has been building up again very quietly, making him stronger and working on his piaffe and passge, which are now much better developed. In the spring of 2025, he will bring him out again in the Grand Prix and he is looking forward to his developments with great anticipation.
His first 3.5 year old offspring are striking under the saddle!
2023
In 2023 they achieved wonderful scores in the Light Tour, including N.K. Dressage 72.11% and 76.88% in the Freestyle. Winner CDI Geesteren Freestyle with a mega score of 78.475%. What a great start to 2023 for our 7-year-old stallion Dante U.S. and Diederik van Silfhout. During the Subtop Dressage multi-day event in Tolbert, they made their debut together in the Light Tour. For Dante U.S. this was this his first competition in a large indoor entourage like Tolbert. In December they started 'ZZ-Zwaar' again for competition routine with 2 beautiful scores of 73.7 and 73.8%. In Tolbert they had some tension in their first test because of a mare that ran close to Dante U.S. but still had 69% and a 3rd place in this large and strong field of participants. On the 2nd day they showed a fantastic test and finished in 2nd place with a score of 73.33%. We have great expectations of this top talent for the 'big sport'.
2022
In 2022, Diederik van Silfhout will have our 6-year-old stallion Dante U.S. carefully built up and started him several competitions in the 'ZZ-Licht' and 'ZZ-Zwaar' with the aim of the Dutch Championship 'ZZ-Zwaar'. This paid off because at the N.K. Dressage 'ZZ-Zwaar' they came 4th in the 1st round (71.71%) and during the Final, Freestyle, they got a 2nd place with a beautiful score of 76.48%.
2021
Dante U.S. has been given the time to develop properly. In 2020 and the spring of 2021, Renate van Uytert-van Vliet worked on his base. He has become more calm and his trot naturally shows a lot of quality for the collection. His canter remains a dream and goes towards a 10. Renate has ridden Dante U.S. several times and trained with Diederik van Silfhout and he is also very fond of his qualities. As a result, we sat down with Diederik and Alex van Silfhout and came to an agreement that Diederik would take charge of his training. Diederik also sees and feels his talent, his magical gallop and really wanted to train him further. This was also a good fit for Renate because she already has many horses in training and her top horses are getting older and require more time.
We know his mother Sondra as the mother of our stallion Mister U.S. (by Gray Flanell) and of the Olympiad horse GLOCK's Total U.S., who started his career at our station. Total U.S. is extremely talented and seems to be the successor to his father Totilas in the sport. Sondra is a daughter of the fantastic breeding Oldenburg stallion Sir Donnerhall I. He successfully continues the stallion line of his father Sandro Hit and already has more than 100 approved sons at several studbooks. In the WBFSH sire ranking, Sir Donnerhall is in 4th place among dressage sires, 3 places behind his father, the leading stallion Sandro Hit. But what is even more striking about Sir Donnerhall is that stallions from Sir Donnerhall's mothers often have a lot of quality and breed well.
2020
We are offering this fantastically bred stallion for breeding for the first time this year. Dante U.S. is a son of the well-known Grand Prix stallion Dante Weltino from the mother of Total U.S. What more could we want in a pedigree! This young talent can trot and canter fantastically. His walk is reasonable, but due to his tension he cannot really move yet. This stallion looks just like Total U.S. and we will train him carefully. For breeders who love an adventure and want to use a stallion with mega talent, this is your chance!

Two half-sisters of Total U.S. raise 2 million. The mother of Total U.S. raised two million. 1,050,000 euros was paid for the four-year-old mare Brisbane (by Bordeaux) and the five-year-old Zantana comes to the Netherlands for 955,000 euros. Both mares are out of Sondra (Sir Donnerhall x Don Schufro). Brisbane was purchased by Leslie Malone's Harmony Sport Horses. RS2 Dressage bought another Zonik in Ankum. The previous Zonik purchase, Zum Glück RS2, was very successful. This year he became Bundeschampion with Robin van Lierop. This year's Zonik, Zantana is also the mother of the top champion at this year's Mecklenburg inspection, Fürst Zonik.
